Each of these bulbs are as bright as daylight.  They have a minimum color temperature of 5500K.  Anything over 5500K is high intensity white light.  Which is ideal for reef, salt water plants and freshwater tanks.  They are a popular choice for plants and freshwater tanks.  Most closely replicates the natural mid-day sunlight at ocean depths of eight feet.

A color temperature of 10,000K is simply the best!  Our bulbs that are this bright are ideal for salt water and reef tanks to sustain the growth of the living reef.  Our bright bulbs, simulates natural sun light at ocean depths of fifteen feet.  Emits an ice white light well suited to photosynthetic corals.
